Cenote Nicte Ha is one of the many cenotes located inside the Cenotes Dos Ojos Park. Its name means “Flower of the Water” in Maya, because of the many waterlilies in the open water area of the cenote.

The cenote is decorated with massive stalagmites and stalactites and on sunny days spectacular light beams create amazing views particularly of the waterlily garden from the dark of the cavern zone.

Nicte Ha is one of the few cenotes where we anticipate to encounter a somewhat stronger current in a few passages; has some tighter spaces; and has very fine sediment along the way which requires excellent buoyancy control.

This dive is for the advanced diver who has demonstrated excellent diving skills on a previous cavern dive with us.

Nicte Ha is part of the Sac Actun System (former Dos Ojos System), the longest underwater river system in the world.
